Hey, I’m Charlene.
I work with ambitious people and couples who look successful on the outside but feel stuck, stretched, or out of sync on the inside, whether it's a career shift, burnout and "what'snext?", money stress that turns into fights, parenting, from different styles to the mental load and constant decisions, feeling like roommates at home, or tension with others. You don't need more willpower, you need a safe space and a real plan.
Welcome! I’m Charlene Mankou, MS, MCPC, CPC.
In life, I’m a wife of almost a decade, a mother of three, a sister to many siblings, and an aunt to even more. I know what it means to balance family, ambition, marriage, and parenting all at once. I’ve experienced the challenges of career transitions, financial stress, and wanting to feel like a team again when parenting decisions are on the table every day. I value truth, data, and the freedom that comes from making aligned decisions
I’m a Master Professional Coach specializing in relationship coaching, personal growth, parenting, and financial empowerment. I’m also a finance and accounting professional with a Master of Science in Accounting Analytics and a Big Four background. I help couples understand how financial habits, career decisions, and parenting differences from styles to mental load can pull you out of sync. Together, we build stronger communication, healthier partnerships, and a more aligned life at home.
Relationship Coaching
“ Money - Career - Parenting ”
MY DATA-BACKED APPROACH
Are you navigating financial stress, career changes, and the everyday pressure of parenting and wondering why it feels so much harder to stay on the same page?
Many couples hit a “wake-up call” when promotions, layoffs, debt, or constant disagreements about kids start testing the relationship. Sometimes it's about money. Sometimes it's about who does what at home. Often, it's about parenting different styles, different loads, and all those small decisions that add up.
One partner tracks every dollar while the other avoids the budget. One is focused on career growth while the other is carrying more at home. One is stricter, one is softer. You love each other, but you keep having the same disagreements and you’re tired of feeling like opponents instead of teammates.
If you’re feeling stretched, disconnected, or just out of sync, you don’t need more willpower. You need a safe space and a real plan to realign how you handle money, work, and parenting, so home feels lighter again.
"You’ll know money isn’t the real problem when you stop blaming the budget and start decoding the behaviors behind it. That’s when confidence, clarity, and peace of mind show up.”

Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
The Money Distance
You make good money but still fight about it.
College savings , vacations, and spending turn into tension.
“Saver” vs “spender” is creating resentment.
First-gen guilt makes every money choice hard.
The Career Drift
Your job titles went up. Your connection went down.
Long hours and promotion tracks are killing intimacy.
You’re both “the responsible one” and running on empty.
Talking about quitting or risk leads to blowups.
The Parenting Tug-of-War
You're on the same team, but not parenting like it.
You love your kids, but you fight about how to raise them; stricter vs. softer, screens, discipline, routines.
One of you is the default parent carrying the mental load, and it's leading to burnout and resentment.
Spending on kids, childcare, and school keeps triggering money tension.
You want to model a healthy partnership for your kids, but you're running on empty.
The Partnership Breakdown
You’re winning at work. Losing at home.
Division of labor feels unfair and unresolved.
Successful on LinkedIn, roommates in real life.
You love each other but don’t like each other right now.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone and you’re not failing. This is what happens when ambitious careers, money decisions, and parenting responsibilities start running the house.
The good news? It’s workable. You don’t need more income, more hours, or more willpower to prove you can handle it all. You just need a calmer, more aligned way to handle it together.
